Waitlist & referral terms

These terms apply when you join the QoBot waitlist on qobot.io or through our API, and when you share your referral link. They exist in French and English; the French version prevails in case of difference.
The waitlist
The waitlist is a free list of people who want to use QoBot. Joining costs nothing and commits you to nothing. Only your email is required; every other question is optional. Your signup counts once you click the link in the confirmation email we send you (double opt-in).
Your position
Once you confirm, you get a position on the list:
- confirmed signups are ordered by the date they were confirmed;
- each person who joins with your referral link and confirms moves you up 10 places; people who haven’t confirmed don’t count;
- positions move: when someone moves up past you, you go down one place, and the reverse;
- you can see your current position from the link in your confirmation email.
What moving up means
Your position shows where you stand on the list, and it is one of the things we look at when we send invitations. Moving up brings you closer to the top. It doesn’t guarantee access at a given date or in a given order.
There is no prize, no draw and nothing to buy. Positions and referrals have no cash value and can’t be transferred or sold.
No commitment and no date
Joining the waitlist doesn’t oblige us to give you access to QoBot, and we don’t announce a launch date. We may invite people in several rounds, change how the waitlist works, or close it. If we close it, we tell the people on it by email.
Fair play
Share your referral link with people who may need QoBot, and follow anti-spam rules: no bulk emails to people who didn’t ask, no posting it where that’s forbidden. We may cancel referrals, or remove a signup from the list, when we see:
- fake, disposable or made-up email addresses;
- signups made by scripts or bots, or in bulk;
- referring yourself, or buying or trading signups;
- spam, or anything that breaks the law or these terms.
Where possible, we tell you first by email and you can reply to explain.
Leaving the list
You can leave at any time with the unsubscribe link in our emails, or by writing to privacy@qobot.io. If you leave, the people you referred keep their place. How we handle your data is explained in the Privacy policy.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; the version and date at the top of this page change when we do. They are governed by French law. Write to hello@qobot.io with any question.
