Is the desktop app really free?
Yes. The QoBot desktop app is free, with the full CISO work: priorities, documents, answers, follow-up. The AI runs on your own account, and you pay your AI provider directly.
What will the AI cost me?
It depends on your provider. With a Claude subscription, QoBot uses the plan you already have. With an API key from Anthropic, OpenAI or Mistral, your provider bills the usage to your account.
When do Cloud and Team come, and at what price?
Later, and their prices come with them. When you join the waitlist, tell QoBot if you want Cloud or Team: it helps us decide what to build first.
Do I need Cloud?
Only if you want QoBot always on. The desktop app does the CISO work on your computer. Cloud runs recurring work and follow-ups even when your computer is off, hosted on OVHcloud in France, and it's opt-in.
Where does my data go?
It stays on your computer, in a folder you own, with full history. The only thing that leaves is the calls to your own AI provider, under your account. Cloud is the only hosted option, and it's opt-in. More: where your data goes.
